everybodys feeling warm and bright

I actually met a a customer at work on Thursday that was from France. I spoke french to her and it was pretty funny..
annnyways..
hmm.. yesterday was winterball! Much fun it was. I got to Cat's house a little later than I should've cause she was stilling showering and then I had to go back cause I forgot my wallet.. then we finally got ready and got to Nella's way late. We both looked like asian hos with all the make up Cat's sister put on us. We ran out the door and raced over to Nella's. It was so crowded in there.. EVERYONE was there. Tying ties and putting the finishing touches to their hair. It was quite crazy..
The dance was itself was okay.. we spent like an hour trying to take pictures though.. gracious it took soooo long.. they played all the good music while we were taking pictures. bugger.. but it was alright.. they played my Justin for me and thats good enough. At one point they played Modest Mouse which I thought was kinda odd.. but I love that song so it's okay. It was really bad when they busted out Delta Goodrem though. It was like Delta gone techno. The whole floor was empty. Pretty bad...
There was soooo many of us there.. good gracious. We took a group picture which was considerable in size. At first, I was put next to Cat in the picture and I made Joan switch with me cause that girl is like a foot taller than me. :P During the dance, we kept trying to get Billy to dance, and he finally just let go. I told Joan to un-viginize his dancing. Cat had her chicken dance moments and I tried to get Ivy to do the KoC dance for me but she didn't. heh..
At the end of the dance, they played "More Than Words" and the posse got together and formed a nice little circle and swayed throughout the song while singing it at the top of our lungs. At the end of the song, Cat asked for a group hug. Everyone stood there and 5 seconds later, all jumped on her. haha.. we nearly tipped over. It was nice. I love those guys.
After the dance we proceeded to do our junior class duties and cleaned up for an hour. Them DJ guys took foreverrr to clean up. We finally got off to Lyon's at 11:30.. And I was suppose to get home by 12. My dad gave me until 12:30 but then I called again when it was 12:20 and I still hadn't gotten my food. He told me to get home as quick as I could. That was.. like.. 1. I was the last to get my food.. and all I got was PANCAKES! hahaha.. Which I actually didn't finish..
I missed Hugh doing his proposing thing to Fran. Damn.. and I'm the gushiest one out of all of them. My goodness.. Fran told me she was embarassed, but I would think Hugh would've been ten times more embarassed. Too cuteeeeee.
Thanks Kevin for being such a wonnnnderful date! And for keeping me laughing with your robot and other old school dancing the whole night.. I had a absolutely fabulous time :)
It was a nice break from a really tiring week.. Too bad it wasn't on a Saturday though. We would've all had a lot more energy. I went to bed like at 2 or 3 and I felt wide awake. I got up around 5 and actually went downstairs to get something to drink in hopes of it getting me to go to sleep. IT worked I guess.. I didn't wake up until 11:30. I went to fundraise for journalism at 1:30 where we sold hot cocoa. Theeennn later my family went to go get a Christmas tree. It's semi big.. if 7 feet something is big. It's a nice tree though I guess. :) Now everyone has to come over to help decorate it!
