Happy New Year everyone.
I was so excited about it when I got home. Hanging out with friends and everything.. but then my dad told me something that made me really upset. My cousin in Australia, Jenny, had gone to Thailand with her boyfriend for the holidays. They happened to have been on a boat just before the tsunamis hit. She had just gotten off the boat when the waves crashed and her boyfriend and her ran to the closest cliff. Some people on the boat, my dad said, didn't make it. My cousin, her brother, Henry, called her for 2 days without an answer. He was crying because he thought she was gone. Her hotel had been trashed. But luckily, she was okay. She's in Bangkok now and hasn't returned to Sydney yet. I'm so grateful that she's okay. I don't know what I'd do if I knew my other big sister was hurt.
I should propose something to the Interactors to help the crisis in Asia. It's so upsetting. Over 124,000 have died. There could never be enough help.
It's time for a change of moods.
Happy New Year everybody. Let's hope this coming year starts off with a bang. A good one. My new years resolution is too just do my best and not procrastinate. I owe it to myself to try harder. And that is why, I'm leaving now to do my homework. 2 more days.
