JUNIOR PROM! :D

okay okay okay.. sooo since the last time I blogged, I've had really really really terrible days and really awesome ones too. Only thing that sticks out (aside from Prom) was the fact that for the first time, I woke up at 9 something on a school day and missed first and second period. That was the greatest. It felt good to sleep in. I had a really really really REALLY bad day on thursday. It sucked so bad. I cried for two periods cause Mr. Cox is an ass. But I eventually got over it. How could I not? The next day was Junior Prom!
So Thursday night, I could hardly wait. I even attempted to go to sleep early to be well rested. Early turned out to be 12.. but in all actually and comparison, that is pretty early. I could sleep for a bout 15 minutes, but I passed out nonetheless.
The next morning, I woke up--get this--before my alarm went off. What in the world!?!? I was soooo excited I just wanted to skipp school all together like SOMMMEEE people did (ahem, cat :P). First period was a breezy.. second, I got my quiz back which wasn't entirely disgraceful, third was just talk time, fourth was drawing presentations, lunch was jamba juice sales, fifth was working with half the class, and sixth.. well, I didn't even go to sixth. It was just a really lax day. Teachers can't teach on prom day.
Cat and I were rushing everywhere. We got our boutinnieres at Great Mall and then rushed over to my house so I could shower and rushed over to Long's to get a camera for Cat and Laffy Taffy for Kevin. Then all of a sudden, it was already 3:30. We had about 2 hours to get ready, but we ended up getting ready until 5:30.. haha. whooops.
Cat's sister did our (Cat, Fran and I) make up and Kevin came over at 5:30ish nish. That boy looked quite dashing! We drove over to Seven successfully. Man was I shaking or what. I merged onto the freeway and felt this huge sigh of relief. haha.. And I managed to get all the way to the fast lane. Gracious.. We got over to the restaurant in one piece. The place was really nice. Spiffy and modern. The food was alright, but a bit over priced. 342 for 19 people. Do the math!
We headed over to the Marriott and I was soooo excited. I left the bid in my car so I had to walk back, which wasn't sooo far. But my feet hurt. It was lovely, the venue. We took pictures right away. The photo lady broke my corsage!! >O I was sad. It was really nice! I didn't wear it while I was dancing, so it's in almost perfect condition. yay :)
We danced danced danced.. for quite awhile. Kevin got a little tired towards the end. Man, the dance floor was sooo small. We had to dance on the carpet. Haha.. and my feet were in so much pain, I didn't wear my heels. The music was pretty good. The end was totally old school. They played hardly any slow songs which is weird cause usually dances play too many. We took breaks and raided the dessert tables. The light brown cakes were gooood.. Group pictures took forever so I forced Kevin to go dance with me while we were waiting. O:)
After the dance we headed over to Lyon's to eat. We were all pretty dang hungry. I ended up going home around 1:45ish. My dad wasn't mad at all. Good thing. I learned today that my sister had talked him into letting me stay out late. <3 sissy. I ended up sleeping around 2:30 and waking up at 1:30 today. Great golly gosh!
All in all, it was great fun. It was just exciting seeing everyone dressed up. All the gals looked hawt and all the boys looked very handsome. <333 Kevin for being so wonderful and for being my fantabulous date. You looked absolutely smashing, hun. I freaking heart youuuuuu!

weeeeeee. It was bunches of fun.. I wanna see everyone else's pictures. :p
Anyways.. today I got up totally late. Went downstairs and saw piles of Asian goodies and eat my.. breakfast/lunch. Billy asked me to go to Jamba with him after and I was "parched" so I decided to go since I was deprived of my Orange Dream Machine yesterday. We went to Borders and I got myself a AP US prep book. Went over to Best Buy and fell in love with the 9.99 power walls. Say Anything, Better Off Dead, High Fidelity, Serendipity (JOHN CUSACK HEAVEN), Catch Me If You Can.. oh man.. I <3 that and I will raid it after I get my paycheck.
Okay time to get lazy! WHOOOO. I'm so freaking happy it's spring break. I love I love I love!
